I had this problem too. I've downloaded PMM220.EXE again and I launched it
by clicking on its object rather than typing 'PMM220' at a prompt line.
[ ^^^ Sorry if I made a mistake here, english isn't my
mother tongue (;-) ]
While I am at it, I'd also like many things (wich could applied to the
Windows version as well):
- "Good Net-Keeping Seal of Approval" compliance. It's a new feature of
ProNews/2 I like very much. It would allow
. the quoting of a message without the signature,
. a new predefined variable ($b.sig$?) to use in filters and canned
replies
- Mail threading
- An "abandoning current message retrieval" (optional) button
- Customizable toolbars (with import/export)
- A "sort" button (I mean an *optional* feature) for canned replies and
address book (esp. for RBM clicking)
- A "prompt" tab in PMMail/settings (new accounts could "inherit")
- A "reindex all folders" option (like in the Windows version, right?)
- A better "codepage" support (ISO-8859-15 for example)
- A option to disable the "inform user" for manual filters
- The use of the %TEMP% variable instead of the built-in '.\TEMP'.
...
- A french version of PMMail (a localisable version depending on the local
system settings).
I was playing with canned replies, and I noticed a typo.
In the help file:
Search for: importnat
Replace by: important
Bye for now.
