This is a corrupted registry key, or one that does not point to the new location of your account data
Check the following in your registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blueprint Software Works\PMMail
For the key ShellDirectory, make sure that it has the path for you working directory of PMMail
u:\user\steff\pmmail 2000
That should correct it.
Thanks,
jimmy

Hi!
I installed PMMail2000 to C:\Programme\PMMail 2000
(yes - as you see, I'm german - and yes - it's Win2K;-).
For backup-reasons, the messages are on a network-drive
u:\user\steff\pmmail 2000. After I changed the working dir of
the link to u:\... everything works fine, I start PMMail and
all my accounts and emails are there.
BUT:
If I e.g. click on a href in a html-page, PMMail starts with
the message, that I don't have a license (which is NOT true),
and after this the account-assistant wants to migrate some
accounts. :(((
I tried to modify the settings in the registry URL:mailto
from "C:\Programme\PMMail 2000\PMMailw.exe /srd %1" in
different ways - no effect.
Does anybody know, how to change the settings, so that I'm
able to click comfortable to href-mailto-links?!?
Is it then also possible, for other users on the Win2K-system
that they use the SAME PMMail but different U:\users\...-HomeDirs?
Best regards
Steff
