Try this:

1) load your system down to about 98%
2) create a new message in PMMail
3) in the To: section start typing in a name which will auto-complete
4) at normal typing speeds, the completion algorithm falls behind
   the typing, creating a messed-up address.

I've not caught a few of these, and get mail bounced back to me
for bad addresses....     :(
