[pmmail-list] 'Hooking' to a Rexx Program..

I have a filter that to which I want to attach a Rexx program that
executes upon the arrival of a new message.  When I try to launch the
program manually by changing the "type" of filter I get this error
message:

          The external program could not be launched (null).

I know the Rexx program works. I can run it from a command window
whenever I want.

SHould I not be able to run a Rexx program using the "background
hook" option in a filter?

Seems so.
