[pmmail-list] Filtering on dollar sign

I can't seem to filter on dollar signs. Using:

h.subject="$"

This dumps all messages, not just those with dollars in the subject
line, into my MMF Spam folder. Escaping the $ with a backslash does not
match any messages containing a dollar.

Version is 2.20.2380 on NT4SP6a
