TNEF is Microsoft's ugly Rich Text format email (ugly because it's
formatted email, not because it's Rich Text). A TNEF can also contain
attachments. The MS clients usually ship a text equivalent of the mail
body, but you still need a TNEF decoder to extract any attachments that
were included. If no text is present, then the TNEF contains only
attachments.

Tell the sender that you only want unformatted email.
