[pmmail-list] Substitute text editor in PMMail?

[Clueless in Seattle]

I'm looking for an email client that will permit me to replace its
internal text editor with a text editor of my own choosing.  Does
PMMail allow that?

If so, I'd be grateful if someone could point me to someplace on the
web where this feature is documented so I can take a look at how it
works.
