Exactly the same situation here, but with a cable connection.  I never
had the problem with the dial-up connection I used to have.  Sometimes
I can fix it by just clicking on the retrieve button, but sometimes I
have to close PMMail and restart it.  I reported this problem to Bob
and Ike in 1998.
