   I'm using the OS/2 version of PMMail, and the treatment of HTML differs 
somewhat between the versions. 

   Actually, the <HTML> tag is not in the message, it was probably just added 
by PMMail because of the header "Content-Type: text/html". Please excuse me 
for erring. 

   This version of PMMail shows the text just fine, and it is also properly 
displayed when I select "View message in web browser" from the "Window" menu. 

    I will send you the text privately.
