The best is to use www.tinyurl.com or www.makeashorterlink.com

If you are using Internet Explorer, you can add these as links to your
link bar and it is as easy as clicking a button, then marking, copying,
and pasting.

If you don't want to do that, you will need to turn wrapping off for
your message, which could cause other problems.
