[pmmail-list] PMMail and Odin

Hi Trevor,

I think that the experimentation Greg Marx is doing trying to get
PMMail WIn to run with Odin under OS/2 is potentially very important
for your OS/2 customers.  As you know, there are certain
connection/authentication features missing in the OS/2 version which
will soon make it impossible for increasing numbers of OS/2 users to
continuing using PMMail.  Since Peter has made it clear that further
upgrades to PMMail/2 are far from certain, assuring that the new
Windows versions work with Odin seems like it should be a priority for
BSW.

I have used several off-the-shelf Win32 programs under Odin and the
results can be very good.  I know that there are some for whom the idea
of running a Win32 program under Odin is heretical,  but for those of
us who see OS/2 is a tool and not a religion we appreciate whatever
works.  Please pass this suggestion along to BSW let us know of any
responses.
