Sorry, I will sound like a harpie for this, but...

If every bit counts, quote only what you are replying to.  PMMail
especially is wonderful for this - highlight what you want to quote
before you hit reply.

You ended up quoting my message, replying to the bit you wanted to,
then sent the balance of the quoted message, along with my quoted sig
and the quoted mailing list sig.  To which your sig was added, and then
the mailing list sig *again*.

Much more annoying than HTML mail, IMO.

And FWIW, I fortunately or unfortunately do not suffer from the huge
spam problem, so don't see the HTML spam so much.  Most of my HTML
comes from my customers.  Therefore, I want PMMail to interpret it
properly.
