The message subject is outdated and misleading. This discussion is
about the filename for the last PMMail for OS/2 beta release, version
2.20.2382, released on March 19, 2002. Updates to the OS/2 version are
numbered separate from the Windows version. All announcements about new
releases will be made on this list, the online bulletin board and the
website.

I agree that there needs to be more clarification about the version
history. It is important to recognize the difference between PMMail
2000 and PMMail/2, the first being a Windows application and the latter
an OS/2 application. To my knowledge, all updates after 2.20.2380 are
specific only to the Windows version. This would explain why ESMTP was,
in fact, new to PMMail/2 version 2.20.2382.
