It's getting worse in the UK, there are some rules, but not many. Best
defence is when they advertise a premium rate number and fail to
mention all the needed details (cost/minute, minimum cost of call, who
they are, the real company name etc) then you can shop 'em to the
regulator, and hope their dog's teeth have been filed a bit sharper
than they used to be.
