I also recently lost my hard drive.
I looked at the Stardock site, but could not find PMINews there. 
I then managed to download PMINews from the SOUTHSOFT site. This was of course the Unregistered Demo version 
which has limits on the number of newsgroups you can subscibe to.  I then sent an e-mail to "support@stardock.com" 
requesting my original registration code. In about two days they replied that they could not trace my original registration, 
but provided a new registration free of charge.
