[pmmail-list] Deleting trash icon bug?

I, like many others, have been hit by that mass emailing bug.  Now, 
popfile is doing a great job IDing the files as viruses and I can 
filter then straight to trash.  I had a few, and decided to recover 
space, so I highlighted them and hit <DEL>.  Now, I can't get the 
trash folder icon to stop indicating there is unread mail.

Is this a known problem, and what is the solution?  I eventually 
emptied the trash, which worked.
