[pmmail-list] (Re)registering caused loss of PMMail Preferences?

I seem to have to put in my registration code every couple days or so, sometimes, then it waits a couple weeks and then I have to do it again, on this Windows XP PRO system.  I am using now, 2.20.2696 I guess the 
problem has been happening for over a year now.
