[pmmail-list] (Re)registering caused loss of PMMail Preferences?

Funny thing happened today,

When I started PMMail it asked me for my registration code.  Since I had only recently installed the most recent version (2661), I figured this had something to do 
with it.  I found the registration key and pasted it in and all is fine -- except my settings for preview pane, fonts, etc. have all changed back to the defaults.  Not a 
big deal, and a pain to duplicate, but perhaps worth recording.
