I believe many many Australians will take issue with this.  Australia
renounced (for lack of a better term) the Monarchy about 5-7 years ago. 
It is a constitutional republic.  Canada is correctly described as a
Constitutional Monarchy since it repatriated it's constitution in 1982. 
However, Britain is different again, if I recall - I believe they are a
parliamentary Monarchy, where the parliament does in fact report to the
Queen, through the House of Lords.

Having said that, I will declare this entire post as being without
prejudice, with the exception to what I said about Canada.  Having not
lived in either Britain or Australia, I'm not entirely certain how
correct I am.
