on some accounts I strip this header. When I use these addresses I want
as little connection to the real me as possible. Just a valid e-mail
address. On one account I even pretend that english is my native
language. ;-)

Or picture this: Some pervert genius wants to harm you via mail. This
is much easier if he knows exactly which version of email program you
have. Most programs have some weaknesses that may be exploited.
