[pmmail-list] loading time (was: a question about the recent betas)

I've just installed the new build 2717, and I'm seeing this, too.  But
only on Win9x.  On WinXP, it loads at about the same speed as before. 
On Win9x, though, there's a noticeable, roughly 2 second pause before
PMMail actually appears.  This was not the case with build 2661.

Related to the new PGP stuff, maybe?
