[pmmail-list] SOLVED was[Re: PMMailW install fails (was downloaded PMMailW corrupted)]

Thanks to all that responded, especially Ralph Cohen. The error message indicated the problem was a 
corrupted key in the Registry. (Another vestige of Norton SystemWorks 2003)  It decided to add one of its 
own DLL's to the key.)  Once the key was fixed the install went through without a hitch.

I agree that the most likely culprit for messing up the downloads was the AV.
