[pmmail-list] Spam software (getting OT)

I'm interested in the virus bucket -- given how these things mutate and 
seem to occur in phases, how effective is it at catching virii?

(In passing, many a virus coming to my computer gets put in my spam bucket 
anyway, for whatever reason.)
