Hello Rod.  It would be so nice if PMMail was ported to Linux.
Since this probably won't happen I have been looking for a good Linux mail client
that will do nested directories, preferably with discrete message files.

Do you know of such?

Interestingly you can copy over PMMail subdirctories and most maildir clients will read them.
But maildirs do not nest by design so you can't have a nice tree of directories with individual message files.
Obviously designed by someone that doesn't understand the concept of subdirectories.
