~ When you are logged into Earthlink with a dialup connection, there is no
need to use smtpauth.earthlink.net which expects to use encryption for
authentication. smtpauth is for connections from the Internet, not dialup.
~ So, yes, either smtp.earthlink.net or mail.earthlink.net are the
appropriate addresses for sending mail over a dialup connection.
