Can PMMAIL (win) do this?

    There isn't and shouldn't be though one is being added.  The *OS* is
responsible for starting the connection, no the individual applications.
Anyone who has DUN installed gets that by default as DUN itself will
autostart when an internet connection is needed.

    Or take away her keyboard.  The computer is a tool.  A tool, IMHO, that
should not cater to stupid users.  In the years I've used PMMail the only
confirmation I have turned on is Folder moving and I've never inadvertantly
deleted an account.  If she turned off the confirmation and hit the delete
menu item *or* hit the item then answered yes to the confirmation, then the
reasonable expectations against stupid computer users has been met.
