Correction: HTML is A choice! Whether it is a GOOD choice depends on
the purpose for making it better, what else is available to achieve
the same goal, restrictions of the medium etc

But this wasn't always so. We cannot (as others have said) assume
that capacity will always increase to meet the silly demands we place
upon a system, and in ANY given finite timeframe, capacity/bandwidth
is logically NOT infinite.

*As long as it's done carefully. Remember in word processing, we
don't use bold, caps, italics etc just because we can, but only where
it will genuinely enhance communication. Once we may have, but surely
we have grown up a bit since then (yeah - now we do PowerPoint
presentations! :( )???

OK - AS LONG AS you don't overdo it. Achieve your goal elegantly
rather than with brute force...

Since I don't have an infinite and free supply of car or fuel, I
don't drive my car 200 yards to my local shops just to collect a loaf
of bread (my son rides his bike!)

[Julius Caesar] Oh, so YOU started this, Brutus!
