    The downside is that they are a commercial enterprise, advertise at the
end of each mailing, can be bought out at a moment's notice.  I have no idea
what software they run and do not trust it at all.  Further, each list is
listed on their web page.  Other onelist lists I am on have been spammed
because of this.  
I see them trying to do to lists what deja(news).com did to newsgroups.  It
was fine that they were archiving, but when they started doing the
"communities" and making like they *were* the newsgroups is where I got
irate.  I can not and will not trust any list I intend to administer to such
a possible outcome.

    My bandwidth is suffcient for the job.  For a list of 180+ subscribers I
am pumping out each message in <5 minutes.  That, to me, is 100% acceptable
and may even be made faster with some tweaking of the number of concurrant
mail processes that my machine runs at once.  So I'm content to wait for a
perfect solution to come along instead of a "this'll work for now" solution.
