I just installed weasel and find it very satisfactory, especially with
the optional store option until offline.

The only thing I wish is for an easier way to handle the deletion of the
'online' file that tells weasel to go offline again. I would think it
fortiutious to set up a pipe that one can use to tell weasel to go off
line or online.

My dial-up connection uses ISDNPM and I use the timeout function so it
shuts down automatically after some time to save phone costs. I have no
function or script that is called when this happens so I wouldn't know
when to delete the 'online' file again. Creating it is easy enough when
the dialing sets up the ip configuration.

Any help on how you use it?

Thanks for the excellent recommendation!

Thanks also to the others for their suggestions. It seems weasel is
pretty much what I need!

Jocki
