I'd pay $20 for a feature added edition of PMMail/2.
I would have serious objections to paying $20 if it is essentially a
bug fix release.

Right, let's conclude this properly with an example:
e.g. Install new sound card (SB32 PnP) on an identical machine.
=> OS/2 = $170CDN + ~3 minutes, clicking a few buttons, including
re-boot.

=> Linux (RedHat 6.2) = $0 + 30minutes to re-compile the kernel and
re-boot.
(I'm being generous since the RH CD actually costs $50. Or download it
for free, but pay your ISP $25. And I'm also not counting the time it
takes to configure the kernel for re-install, nor the time taken to
read the HOW-TO to find out how to do the re-compile).

A few years ago when I worked for IBM, they charged $100/hour for my
services. The way I see it, a couple of re-configurations and
peripheral installs and OS/2 pays for itself.
