That is the usual interpretation.  I was told, today, that I am not
very customer centric because I wouldn't promise to be able to email
spreadsheet loadable versions of reports from an IDMS database in less
than a month.  The user who made that statement doesn't even know which
reports she wants, but why should that stop me from making the changes
anyway.

I, too, will not promise a completion date and when a group of users
will not accept "I am making progress, but I'm not finished," then I
will stop all communication and get back to work.

Most of the people on this list will accept and understand the
problems, but there have been enough comments about abandonment to
warrant caution from the developers in regards to any announcements.
