I'd say that you're incorrect in that assessment given the number of
people on this list who are professionally employed in the business of
producing software of some sort or another. Also it doesn't take experience
in the business world to know you don't piss off customers, lie to them
repeatedly, push them off, shove them aside, and be absolutely SILENT on
matters. Esp. to a group of hard-core fans of the product who can, quite
frankly, handle the truth.

I don't think anyone here really believes they have had anyone on
development of the product for the past 9 months. If anyone does, speak up
now so I can show you what just 1-2 people on development can do in that time
using a comparable product as a benchmark. Yet they have said development has
been going on for that timeframe. We have all but an admission of that theory
(can't say it is fact without the admission since we don't /KNOW/) from BSW
but I doubt anyone would want to bet that they have.

Simply stated, when you're dealing with a customer base that virtually
/needs/ to be technical and business savvy don't try to BS them and most
certainly not for 9+ months. Well, that is unless you're prepared to catch a
ration of justifiable crap in return.
