   PMMail/2 and PMMail 2000 (for Win) have a settings for the
Internet Locale in the principal Settings or Properties dialogue. 

   It seems that the Default Character Set configured there is only
used for mail to be sent out. It could and should also be used as the
default character set for decoding incoming mail.
