I was away from my email for two weeks, and discovered a PMMail
problem: my spool directory on my pop server had over 1600 messages
in it, yet PMMail only recognized 500 or so. After downloading those
500 it recognized, PMMail began repeatedly downloading the same
selection of 80 messages from within the 500 it recognized, over and
over and over and over again, without deleting any of them from the
server.

In order to clear my messages from the server, I had to use Outlook
Express to download all 1600 messages, because PMMail would not
recognize them.

Any ideas why PMMail would not recognize all the messages on my
server? Or why it would repeatedly download the same selection from
the server, without deleting them?
