  That sounds good. I did not want to put in question your work and
your qualities. I think that translation to Nederlands would be in
good hands when you do it. 

  But I have seen to many bad translations into German, where the DP
company selected some professional translator who had no or very
little experience with the product to be translated, and many of
these translations are really bad. 

  For example OS/2 -- when I close an editor session with unsaved
changes, I'm asked if I want to save the file, and I'm given five
alternatives to select from: 
   Save, Save As, Delete, Abort, Help 

   This is retranslated from German. The original english was
certainly "discard" instead of "delete", which in the context of
changes is a little different. I'm always puzzled if the software
asks me to delete the file altogether, instead of just discarding the
changes. Translation errors like this abound in software and
documentation here. 

  That is why some users with heavy exposure to english prefer not to
use translated software at all.
