To my knowledge, Peter did not make any changes to that specific part of the
code. I do know that he uses APOP for an account he uses at work, and he did
not report any problem with fetching is mail. Then again, this is a beta, and I
wouldn't be too surprised if there were a problem. Another thing to consider in
this is the servers role, it could be temporary problems with the server. Let
me know if it persists, and we will take a look at it Monday morning.
