1) Well I do know the temp dir must be on the server with the production EXE -
found that messing with WSeB ACL;s at one time, PMMail wanted a temp dir that
was not below the EXE dir.

2) None of my client or myself use the preview window so that should cut down
on the use of the temp dir - server or workstation located.

I'll still back up my EXE and give your suggestion a try.

Is temp used while bringing PMMail up? Or what else makes it so slow coming up
from a WSeB drive... Oh, and I have copied all of PMMail over to a test
Linux/Samba server, rebooted Linux to flush the disk cache, and it starts up
from Samba in seconds vs 1 min! That was my thinking that Win2K and WSeB are
"fighting" about something.
