No, I haven't. The user asked me about this during a lunch, and as
everybody knows, anything said under lunchtime isn't taken very
seriously by the it-dept. 8-)

Seriously, I didn't try it because I don't have access to the
instrument-computer running the dos. It's off-limits for me. The
instrument in question is one of those rare aminoacid-sequencers
running obsolete legacy software off of a 486SX. I did however
upgrade it to 16M ram quite recently. For bad or for worse... Dunno
if the software at all is able to use all that ram in the first
place, but since the simms were just lying there anyway... 8-)
