Let's get the heat out of this.

1 Some things users would like are impossible. At least until computers
have ESP ;-)

2 Some things some users would like would require the program to breach
RFC(s)
   These wishes, even if technically feasible, should not be
implemented.
   Microsoft's monopoly (not total) on RFC breaches should remain a
monopoly.
   We don't need another "standards" war like the browser wars.

3 Anything else may be worth adding to a wishlist.

4 If you are not into reading RFCs you may have to accept the word of
others when told that  
   your idea is non-compliant. You may want to have a look at the
relevant doc. just out of
   interest. There is a good book on all the email protocols written to
be readable.
