I use OS/2 so the Windows version may be a little different but one
thing that threw me at first was that the buttons are toggles.  For
instance clicking delete marks a message for future deletion,
clicking it again on the same message unmarks it.  Works the same for
the mark to download buttons.  You have to click the lightening bolt
"Transfer mail" button for the action to actually complete...
