yeah, nitpicking :P

neutral is correct, it's "das Virus", but some people nevertheless say "der Virus" (male) which is wrong but common

it's not female, it's only plural ;) "die Viren"

so a neutral "das Auto" will become plural "die Autos", but it's not female
and a female "die Nase" will become a plural "die Nasen", but it's not female
and a male "der Baum" will become a plural "die Bäume", but it's not female
