Not a big deal...

Just DRAG the messages that you want to delete from the FIND window and
DROP them into the TRASH folder.

I have had a couple of problems trying to drag a large number of
messages at one time [crashes PMMail/2], but nothing is ever lost.  So,
I just drag them a few at a time.  I use this on a regular basis to get
stuff from the InBox to a particular project or follou-up folder.
