  I complained to BMTMicro about this and the sysadmin changed the level of verbosity.
It has reduced the spam in the headers added by SpamAssassin to "rather verbose":

X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-4.5 required=5.0
	tests=IN_REP_TO,PGP_SIGNATURE_2,QUOTED_EMAIL_TEXT,REFERENCES,
	      REPLY_WITH_QUOTES
	version=2.54
X-Spam-Level:
X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.54 (1.174.2.17-2003-05-11-exp)
X-Spam-Report:   ---- Start SpamAssassin results
  -4.50 points, 5 required;
  * -0.5 -- Has a In-Reply-To header
  * -2.5 -- Contains a PGP-signed message (signature attached)
  * -0.5 -- Has a valid-looking References header
  * -0.5 -- BODY: Contains what looks like a quoted email text
  * -0.5 -- Reply with quoted text
  ---- End of SpamAssassin results

  Personally I'd have thought only the first line ("X-Spam-Status: No") would be enough
for production systems.
