spend money for it, and STILL they cannot be bothered.
  Amazingly this is a lot more common than you would think. I have repeatedly 
encountered this attitude: "Customers? Pah!" The promise of income falls on deaf ears. 
(Pearls before swine? The great unwashed? Ignorance is bliss? Denial is a river in 
Egypt?)
