Hi list, I don't know why this is, and I think it might be related to
my firewall, and Norton anti-virus 2004, which I just got, but am not
sure, but somehow, I keep getting errors when pm mail tries to fetch
mail, so, figuring it was a problem with my firewall rule for pm mail,
I deleted the rule for pm mail, figuring it would prompt me for another
rule, but it didn't, and now, neither Norton, or pm mail have any
rules, but I keep getting these error messages, and don't know why this
is, I'll paste in the findings of the pm mail 2717 error log, but I
find it very difficult to believe that the mindspring mail server is
having so much trouble, but here's the error log, and I don't know of a
way to configure Norton anti-virus so that this won't happen, if it is
a conflict between 2004 and my firewall, which is kerio personal
firewall version 2.14, but now, you don't have to use 127.0.0.1 to get
mail anymore, Norton recognizes pm mail, which it didn't in Norton
2001, but don't know where to configure mail. Maybe somebody can shed
some light, but this is frustrating, as you'll see from the error log.

this doesn't tell you much, but with Norton 2001, I never got these
type of errors, and they always occurr like this within a session.
With the pm mail rule not there, it is better, but still, with Norton
2001, I could go for weeks without getting errors, and don't know where
to go to configure either Norton, or pm mail to prevent this. Thanks
in advance for helping, but this is frustrating.
