I think that was what he was referring to.  The disk space used was greater
than the combined file sizes.  FAT32 will relieve this to a degree, but
OS/2's HPFS reduces this limitation to even much further.

At the expense of CPU time, but it will work.

A zip disk works well too, unless you've got over 100MB of saved E-mail.  If
that is not enough then something much larger (and more expensive) is needed,
like a jaz or syquest.
