I can produce the same thing, if I change the properties of the PMMail =
shortcut -> start -> run minimized instead of normal window. Then =
starting the program with the 'preview pane' already switched ON, the =
layout is that mess. If I first start PMMail (minimized) with the =
'preview pane' switched OFF, the subsequent activation of it has no bad =
effect.
