Sorry, I should have mentioned that I tried this too, and it failed
repeatedly.

I now see what the problem is though. It *does* work, I'm just using
beta software (a 32-bit cmd.exe) and it is causing the problem.

Sorry to bother. I /knew/ it worked before. :-)
