PGP problems

What's the difference, in terms of e-mail address and/or PGP sig,
between your msg from

Tue, 1 Aug 2000 13:03:56 -0700
(gives "Unable to verify PGP signature; Public key is not in keyring")

and the other from
Tue, 1 Aug 2000 13:44:20 -0700
(gives "Message signed by Steve Lamb <morpheus@rpglink.com> on 08/02/00
01:44:21")

?

To be more exactly, I cannot understand how the second one gives ok, as
the message header has no morpheus@rpglink.com in it.
I have a (probably old) keyring with four Steve Lamb add -
morpheus@rpglink.com, morpheus@calweb.com, morpheus@jps.com,
morpheus@teleute.dyn.ml.org
