Arthur C. Clarke (I think) just released a new book in which this is
the key plot element. Someone develops some technology which makes it
possible to see anything, anywhere, anytime. All privacy instantly
vanishes. Interesting idea.

Well, that might be going a little far. Frankly, just being able to
avoid persecution based on others' opinions is enough for me. If they
want to disapprove, that's fine, as long as they don't throw rocks at
me.
